What about having an area with baskets on a shelf for stuff that is specifically there’s? FK need to be able to call something and some place in the home only theirs.
Also; I didn’t see it but you could also have a mini scrapbook album with little stickers and things that while they are with you guys, they can put together with you and take it with them in case they leave. A little remembrance of the good times you spent together.
We had also received bunk beds for our foster-to-adopt kiddos! Our story didn’t end well though:( planning is key to everything working like a charm♡
God Bless & enjoy the new ones.

Then it will stay in place but be easily removed.

Also, board and card games we can enjoy together. 😀

We have a ceiling fan in the bedrooms that would be very close to a top bunk. If we got a placement that requires us to have 3 in a room we would do it and remove the ceiling fan!

I know I’m a little late but I just stumbled across your blog. We keep extra stuffed on hand so that each kid has something to squeeze on their first night and take with them if/when they move on.

I am sure sharpie would work on that. You could make different cookie sheets. One could be used for tic tac toe. One could be used for laminite games and use magnets as game pieces. You could set up a game. Put every letter from the alphabet on there with a permenant marker. Then your kids find something that starts with each letter. I am 10 years old and going to yellowstone this summer.

We had a long trip, so I divided the trip up into sections, and for each section, I pulled out a bag with the stuff for a specific project. (dry -erase markers, monster shapes, magnet sets, coloring books and crayons, etc.)

The dry erase and chalk board fit on the back of the cookie sheet, I will be gluing them to the back. So they can have their fun on the cookie sheet or they can flip it over and draw with dry erase or chalk on the other sides. All in one place. less digging or falling in between the door and seat or in between the abyss of between car seats and the seat.
