Hide ’em & Hatch ’em Eggs

Hide 'em & Hatch 'em Eggs Many parents are looking for non-candy items for their children’s Easter baskets and Hide ‘Em and Hatch ‘Em Eggs are a super-fun Easter gift that your kids will love!

Hide ‘Em and Hatch ‘Em Eggs are colored eggs that when placed in water will “hatch” into cute spring animals figures! Each package contains three different-colored eggs that each grow into a different animal – a bunny, a duckling, and a baby chick! Hatching your eggs is easy:  Place the eggs in room-temperature water and wait! You’ll need to change the water a few times throughout the process, but other than that, you’ll just check in on your eggs every 12-24 hours!

My kids loved checking up on the eggs, observing the cracks forming, and finally seeing their new animal friends emerge from their shells. They were so excited to find out what would be coming out of the eggs! The cracks on the egg shells look very realistic and the little animals are really cute and the perfect size for young kids.

  1. That is an absolutely wonderful idea! I wish they would do them in something strange for the kids like dragons.

  2. @Brooke,

We did this last year, ours was a dinosaur and I got it at a drugstore! (I don’t remember which store, we were visiting Chicago last Easter so I can’t remember the name of the chain). I think our egg was only $1 or so. Seems like Walgreens has a lot of Easter stuff out right now too.

  3. These are so cute. I love the animals inside!
