Simple Shoe Tip for Preschoolers

Sometimes I’ll think of a solution to a minor problem and think “How did I not think of this before now? How much time have I wasted? How much frustration have I experienced before this stupidly simple solution came to mind?”

This is one of those times for me.

Over and over again I’ve had to help Miles figure out which shoe goes on which foot. He knows his right from left, but sometimes it can be hard to tell which shoes is which! He can also read, so he understands that Left begins with L and Right begins with R. So? What’s the super easy solution?

Voila! Sharpie, on the inside of the shoe, marking an L and an R! It took 2 seconds and it works for us!
