Review & Giveaway: Le Bibble Baby Bottle Bib

Today, Joy G. is reviewing the Le Bibble Baby Bottle Bib for us and you have a chance to win your own!

OK, I’ll admit it: we have a messy eater at our house. There are constantly burp cloths strewn around anywhere our daughter has eaten and she always has what we less-than-affectionately call a “milk necklace”. That’s why I was excited to get the chance to review the LeBibble!

LeBibble is essentially a bib for a bottle. Simply slide it over the neck of the bottle and feed baby as usual. One of the first things I read about LeBibble was that it soaks up drips from a leaky bottle. I thought to myself, “Well, our bottles don’t leak, so that’s not a big deal”. How wrong I was! When I took LeBibble off, it was surprisingly wet! I was shocked by how much our bottles really did leak. We tried it with both Dr. Brown’s bottles and Avent bottles and it helped on both, even with their fancy, anti-leak, anti-air bubbles technology.

It also has a really soft cotton on the bottom side so you can dab baby’s chin while she eats. This really helped with clean up time after eating. Nora usually has formula from bottom lip to chin and running from the corners of her mouth down to her neck. The LeBibble helped me catch the dribble before it got out of hand.

Part of the reason she’s such a messy eater is that she is very aware of her surroundings (read:  easily distracted) and is always looking around while eating. The LeBibble helped her focus on one single thing and eat more efficiently.

I think the LeBibble would be especially useful for a young infant—one you’re holding all the time so you can dab as needed. But it worked well for our “older” infant (yikes—that hurts to say!) as well. I can also see how it would help encourage a baby to learn to hold her own bottle. Nora like grabbing it and the way it felt. Check out more features and shop for LeBibble at LeBibble.com!
