Scanimalz Review

Bringing the virtual app world into the physical world is a super fun way to get your kids engaged in technology and play! Scanimalz are collectible, plush toys that do just that — taking virtual play offline!

In many adorable styles and colors, Scanimalz each have a QR code on their tummies that you scan into the free Scanimalz app to keep up with your collection! Inside the app are several mini-games that are very fun to play! Players earn points and can unlock new levels and trophies to make the game more challenging!’

Take a look at the games and characters available in this video:

There are 30 Scanimalz available currently and some are more rare than others.

Aren’t they cute??

Scanimalz Review & Giveaway

The games are simple enough that my 5 year old can play them, but not so easy that he isn’t challenged by them. The quality of the games is excellent and reminds me a lot of many of the popular app games out there. The app is available for iOS and Android systems. Note that you will need a camera on your device to scan the QR code, so it won’t work with a first generation iPad.

The instructions are really simple for getting started, you should have no trouble getting the app set up with your collection of Scanimalz toys!
