Product Review Worksheet

I never blog about blogging, mostly because I’m a total newb and don’t really know what I’m doing. But I actually have something, albeit small, to contribute to the blogging community, so today, I’m blogging about blogging.

I don’t do product reviews all the time, but some times throughout the year are busier for reviews than others, and the months and weeks leading up to Christmas are the busiest for me. It can get pretty overwhelming when my dining room table is full of items to review and my Product Reviews email folder is full of things to do. Because of this, I needed something I could print out to help me keep track of my thoughts when reviewing multiple products. I searched but couldn’t find anything that fit my needs so naturally, I solved the problem by creating something on my own!

The download is a PDF file you can use to organize your product reviews. It’s pretty general, so you should be able to use it no matter your blog and review niche, but if you want it customized and would rather pay me a few bucks to do it than make it yourself, let me know!

Before you download, I do ask that you please do one (or more, if you’re an over-achiever!) of the following:

  1. Like or Follow me on Facebook or Twitter (@PlaydateCrash) OR
  2. Subscribe to my free email newsletter OR
  3. Share this post with someone else! (See that Pinterest button? I’d love a re-Pin!)

  1. Krista, thank you! This is an awesome document you just made! Love it…

  2. Thank you, Cassondra! I’ll probably make a similar one for keeping track of sponsored posts, too!

  3. How does one start Product Reviews themselves if you don’t mind me asking ?

  4. Great question, Kirsten! Many bloggers start by reviewing items they already own, things they love and have used for a long time or new products they want to try and have purchased themselves. Write a great review on your blog, link correctly, use photos of yourself using it. Tweet it out and mention the company, etc. Once you have something you can show, you can pitch PR reps and tell them you love their product and would they consider sending you one for review. Additionally, you could just ask to be put on their blogger list for future consideration with reviews. There are some great networks out there that you can join for blogger review opportunities, including Business 2 Blogger (Link in the blog footer!) and The SITS Girls.

    I hope that helps!

  5. Keeping organized is so very important – esp when you’re dealing with companies who are expecting you to get their product reviewed and promoted. Great idea for this kind of resource!

  6. I could really use something like this to stay organized! I rely on my memory and that isn’t too good these days!

  7. Thanks so much for this!! I pinned it in case I have a computer malfunction, and to share it with my awesome blogger followers who will also enjoy it!
