iPieces Games for iPad – Review and Giveaway!

For families who own an iPad and love board games, iPieces games for iPad are the best of both worlds!

iPieces for iPad Review

I received two iPieces games from Pressman Toy to try out at home, Air Hockey and Fishing Game!

To get started, you first download the free app from the App Store on iTunes. It only takes a few seconds to get going once the app is downloaded. The Fishing Game requires you to select the number of players (2-4) and type in the players’ names with their selected colors so that your fishing buckets are labeled during play. After pressing Start, all players work to “catch” fish with their fishing pole game pieces. Wait until the fish open their mouth and then drag them back to your bucket! But watch out for the birds, who will try to steal your fish! Play continues until all fish are caught and the player with the most fish in their bucket wins! It took my boys a few minutes to learn how to hold their fishing pole piece and drag the fish to their buckets, but Miles (4) caught on quickly!

Air Hockey is played much like traditional air hockey but the added animation and sound makes for an exciting game experience! The iPieces strikers have a soft material on the underside to protect your iPad screen. The game pieces are stored in a small plastic box, which makes them a great option for traveling. Instruction sheets are also included in the box. The games can be used on all iPad versions (we have an original) and are safe for your iPad under normal use.

There are currently five iPieces games available:  Fishing Game, Game of Goose, Air Hockey, Snakes and Ladders, and Pool!
