I’ve worn glasses since I was eight years old. I’ve also never had cool glasses.
May I present the evidence? Exhibit A, Your Honor…
Yes, that is a marching band uniform and a flute. I don’t know why they had us pose for portraits like that. I have no words. Laugh it up, friends…laugh it up.
Because of my lifelong lack of snazzy eyewear, I jumped at the chance to receive and review some cool new spectacles (or “eyespyglasses”, as my 4 year old calls them) from Rivet & Sway for BlogHer ’12! This great new way to choose, try, and buy prescription frames and lenses is awesome. You take a look at all the styles and colors, choose three to try out, receive them and try them, mail them back (shipping is free!), and place the order for your favorites!
You won’t believe how great these frames are. I chose to narrow down the options by selecting my size and face shape and it pulls up the best fits.
I was torn between these three but ended up choosing (with our readers’ help!) The Rizzo in Crushed Velvet!
Here’s how they arrived:
Isn’t that lovely? And be sure you notice the beautiful detail on the “insides” of the glasses.
And now…*drumroll please*…
Rivet & Sway, I believe I can speak for the universe (I have that authority and all) when I say: ”Thank you for improving my looks from my marching band days with your glasses.”
Rivet & Sway is absolutely doin’ it right. Their website, ordering methods, and quality are all excellent and their customer service is top notch. And now they’ve decided to do right by all of you and set you up with a discount code so that you can get started ordering your amazing new glasses at a 20% discount!
Enter the code CWHOUB1CCFCBB5 at checkout when you order and be sure to let me know which ones you pick! (The fine print: This 20% discount expires on 8/26/12. You must order by that date with the code, so if you’re going to try your three frames first, you need to hurry!)
I had so much fun being a part of the Rivet & Sway Originals group at BlogHer ’12! I get so many compliments on my glasses and I love telling everyone about the process!
