Springing Forward

Daylight Savings Time is weird.

Time zones, losing hours, gaining hours…that stuff gives me a headache.  So it’s no surprise that I don’t do much to “prepare” for Daylight Savings Time changes.  But I know some of you do, so tell me how you prepared yourself or your kids for Sunday’s Spring Forward?  What was your experience like this year?

  1. This is the first year that I haven’t had a problem getting acclimated with Daylight Saving Time. I’m attributing it to being 39 weeks pregnant and having NO PROBLEM going to bed an “hour earlier” so the morning doesn’t seem to come so soon!

  2. Starting about a week before the time change, I put my boys down 15 mins early at a time until the Saturday night, when they went to bed an hour early. Then Sunday night after the time had changed, it wasn’t any different to them. So far it seems to have gone smoothly!
